On the first meeting we kicked out the project. After introducing each other and welcoming new members of the consortium, a discussion was held on the basic points of the SmartSoc project. The basic procedure for achieving the objectives has been established.
February 14, 2020
At the beginning of the meeting, the first months of the project were evaluated. Project marketing and communication channels were introduced. The main topic was the preparation of the upcoming Blended activity.
September 18, 2020
This was an online meeting. It was not possible to organize this activity in traditional way. The participants were connected using the Microsoft Teams platform. At the beginning of the meeting, the Blended mobility 2020 was evaluated. The second important issue discussed was the preparation of the Blended mobility 2021. Specificaly, it was discussed about opening the calls for new Entrepreneurial Cases 2021 and the call for students (participants of the Blended mobility 2021).
February 24, 2021
The SmartSoc project partners met on February 24 to discuss the preliminary results of the consortium cooperation. 13 representatives from 10 of 13 project partners discussed different topics. The most discussed topic was how the covid-19 influenced the project activities.
The SmartSoc consortium plans were significantly changed after 6 months of the project life. This time the SmartSoc Blended Mobility 2020 was started. The main difference to the original project plan was cancelling the learning, teaching, and training activity in May 2020. The SmartSoc Workshop 2020 was held virtually in September 2020.
The project consortium has expressed concerns related to the SmartSoc Workshop 2021 that is planned to held in Valencia in May 2021. It is very probably that it will be necessary to organise this event in the same way as in 2020, in the virtual version.
The project consortium agreed on basic ideas of the interim report that describes 18 months of the project life.
August 30 – 31, 2021
The SmartSoc project steering committee met to discuss summary of two project years. Ten participants from five project partners discussed the preparation of the second interim report that describes 24 months of the project life. Analysis and evaluation of feedback from the SmartSoc Blended Mobility 2021 was an important point of discussion as well. The project steering committee agreed with the project budget modifications related to the online activities – higher workload for the intellectual outputs and cancelled short-term mobilities of teachers and students. The preparation of the SmartSoc Blended Mobility 2022 was started. The SmartSoc Workshop 2022 will be held in Žilina (Slovakia) in May 2022.
December 1-3, 2021 - Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Osijek, Croatia.
The SmartSoc steering committee met do prepare the last blended mobility of the SmartSoc project. The project meeting started with information about successful interim report submitted in October 2021 and information about the second payment of the project budget. Thirteen participants evaluated more than ten proposals of the entrepreneurial cases applied by the lecturers from the partner universities for the upcoming blended mobility. Seven entrepreneurial were selected. The steering committee approved supervisors for technical, business and societal aspects of the selected entrepreneurial cases. This meeting was organized in hybrid form to enable online participation of two members of the steering committee.
February 1-2, 2022 - School of Telecommunications Engineering, Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain
The SmartSoc steering committee met to organise the last steps in organisation of the last blended mobility of the SmartSoc project and the third learning, teaching and training activity. Ten participants evaluated more than thirty students' nominations from the partner universities for the upcoming blended mobility. The steering committee divided students to the groups and created student teams. The student teams were assigned to seven entrepreneurial cases selected in the frame of previous project meeting. This meeting was organized in hybrid form to enable online participation of two members of the steering committee.
August 30-31, 2022 - Faculty of Informatics, University of Debrecen, Hungary
The plenary meeting of all project partners took place in Budapest. Twenty participants discussed about three years of the project. This project meeting was focused on the reflection of the content and goals of the Smartsoc project. The project partners made a checklist and summarized how they achieved the project´s objectives and results. All project partners presented their viewpoints on the project's cons and pros and the impact of the SmartSoc project on their own institutions. These feedbacks and discussions were significant for project follow–up dissemination, final project report preparation and future cooperation of the consortium partners.
